The preschool group at German Mills got a surprise visit from a York Regional Police officer! At first the children were a little nervous around Officer Andy, but after saying hello and shaking hands, they started asking questions!

Harrison and Ryan were interested in all the gadgets Officer Andy had on his belt, he showed us a flashlight and we found that very interesting! Next Officer Andy invited us to see a police car as we started to walk over to the police car, Ryan and Charlie asked if they could hold the police officer’s hand, and he said yes! We were so lucky, we got to see the lights on the car and hear the sirens! The children started to jump up and down, they seemed to enjoy this experience!

Sadly, it was time to let Officer Andy go back to work! We said thank you for always protecting us and waved good bye! What an amazing experience!
