York Professional Care & Education will continue to follow our procedure with respect to Severe Weather Conditions as stated in the Parent Handbook – Emergency Management Statement.

For closures due to weather conditions, families can access information on our website at www.ypce.com and centre outgoing voice message. Every attempt will be made to post the information as quickly as we receive it. Full day child care centre closures will be at the discretion of YPCE.

YRDSB (York Region District School Board) will close schools to students.  There will be no opportunity for operators to offer programs to school age children who would normally attend school.

Full day child care centre closures will be at the discretion of YPCE.

YCDSB (York Catholic District School Board) will close schools to students.  There will be no opportunity for operators to offer programs to school age children who would normally attend school. 

Full day child care centre closures will be at the discretion of YPCE.

SCDSB (Simcoe County District School Board) will have schools remain open on snow days when buses are cancelled.  Operators will only operate before and after school programs as usual.

Full day child care centre closures will be at the discretion of YPCE.

SMCDSB (Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board) will close schools to students.  There will be no opportunity for operators to offer programs to school age children who would normally attend school.
