Dear Families:

We are excited to announce our 24th annual York Professional Children’s Walk for Charity.  We will be walking to support The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Proceeds generated from this event will be donated to support the highest priority needs at the hospital, SickKids is working towards building a new SickKids, advancing research and supporting patients in Canada and abroad.  Our last walk raised $11,329.80.

Because of the support SickKids receives from this event and community initiatives like it, important advances have been made in child health research, new life-saving medical equipment has been purchased for their clinics and operating rooms, and the young patients continue to receive the best care that science, technology, and compassion have to offer.  

York Professional Care & Education believes that the Annual Walk for Sick Kids supports our vision and mission statement as we foster learning environments that embody courtesy, respect, responsibility, confidence and compassion towards others.    

We are asking you to support our efforts and assist your child in raising money by asking friends, relatives, co-workers and neighbours to sponsor your child in the walk on May 16, 2023.

All cheques are payable to SickKids Foundation.  SickKids Foundation will issue Charitable Donation Receipts for donations $20.00 or over and will be receipted upon request.
